Welcome to The November Mood Board. At the age of 15, I fell in love with the art of magazines — the way the images, photography, typography, and content blended into one creating an inspirational and aspiring life.

I dreamed of learning how to make something like this come to life. For the past 20 years, I’ve been learning the in’s and out’s of how to create print and digital content and how to build a business from content creation.

One of my main passions, is being able to express a feeling or emotion through imagery. I admire brands who create beautiful editorial campaign imagery as it truly is art to me.

I was inspired to put together this mood board from a series of newsletters that I received within the past week. The brands that I am highlighting today are female-owned and are creating beautiful editorial campaign content. And, as I scoured the internet to find more aligned images, I fell in love with the campaigns by these brands.

It’s always so important to create original branded assets that are a reflection of your brands essence. I always recommend to my clients to have at least one main brand campaign every year (because you’re always evolving and so is your brand) but then to have mini social shoots every other quarter to make sure your brand is creating original content. There’s nothing chic about your brand using stock photography. Here’s the mood board. And, all the reasons I love them and new brands that you can fall in love with too!
